Apple finally splashed out several ad campaigns for it’s October 22nd iPad launch event. The hype and speculation around Apple’s products has always been on months before these are launched in the market or even talked about.
Let’s talk about the hugely popular iPad Mini. I love my iPad Mini much more than the iPad Retina that i previously owned, largely because of the Mini’s size and weight. It felt much more facile to hold and use without much wrist strain when used at a stretch for longer hours. Apple’s latest offerings though should be a 7.9 incher iPad Mini 2 and a 9.7 incher iPad Retina with bezels and looks like the 2012 Mini.
We expect the firm to launch it’s new iPad Mini 2 with a significant boost to the pixel density that’s merely 163ppi with a resolution of 1024×768 on the current Mini. We wish Apple upgrades this resolution to the Retina display resolution that has a beautiful high def 262ppi pixel density which looks very salubrious to the eyes.
Speculation is also rife on whether we would see a TouchID fingerprint scanner on the iPad this year. Well, we should be seeing the TouchID scanner on the larger, higher priced iPad. The iPad is also expected to be out in 3 colors like it’s smaller brother, the iPhone 5S in champagne gold, space gray and white-silver. We just take a guess but we’re eager to know too.
Till then, let’s all wait and watch as Apple’s launch event comes around in less than a week. Fingers crossed!
